Intel - Mobile App Solutions for a New Mobile Platform and App Store

Intel - one of the largest technology companies in the world - www.intel.com - decided to get into the tablet market.  In order to do so successfully, it needed a mobile delivery model and solutions that would get consumers to buy its new tablet. It launched AppUp - www.appup.com - its own online app store.  Initially, Intel was going to develop apps on its new MeeGo OS platform; however, later decided to become more of a device agnostic provider of apps and leverage HTML5. From MeeGo to the HTML5 offering, we delivered critical mobile app solution recommendations to populate its store effectively, and were instrumental in identifying a key area of app development by making recommendations of app type, and how to most effectively build those apps so they scale while also being accepted by the general public. We worked with Intel to populate what is widely known in the mobile industry as one of the top 1 or 2 categories for mobile apps.
